IV Video-Camera AV-C(r)
The camera has a shielded acrylic glass-window ((1) in fig. 1) and an
internal microphone (2) on the front. Above this, the switch from line
IN to microphone-usage (3) can be found, as well as the line IN-
connector (4) at the bottom. The lights can be turned on and off with
the pushbutton (5).
At the back the main switch (6) with the control-LED, two
pushbuttons for the adjustment of the focal distance ((7), focus), two
pushbuttons for the adjustment of the focal length ((8), zoom), one
pushbutton ((9) for the menu and two pushbuttons for the adjustment
of the brightness (10) can be found. In addition, the adjustment of
brightness can be set to auto bright by switch (11).
The buttons (7) and (8) are used twice, i.e. if you are in the menu,
you can navigate through it by the "Tele/Wide"-buttons (8). The
"Enter"-button (7) confirms the input/settings, whereas the "Esc"ape-
button brings you back to the preceding menu item.
Furthermore, the connector for the optical cable (12), the connector
for the power supply (13), and the connector for the display (14) are
affixed on the rear side of the camera housing as well. Cameras with
a connector for a pan/tilt unit (p/t unit) have a further connector here
(15) by which the pan/tilt unit and the camera are connected.
Systems with p/t unit are supplied with 12 V DC. The allowed supply
voltage is specified at the power supply connector of the camera.

All functions of the camera can be controlled and adjusted with the
help of switches or pushbuttons and via the display.
If the voltage of the batteries fall below 8 V the camera automatically
switches off.
The position and number of the control elements can vary from the
one depicted in fig. 1!
