I Transmitter AV-T
The transmitter has an internal microphone ((1) in fig. 1) with an
adjustable amplifier (2). An external (electret-)microphone can be
connected to the 3.5 mm-connector (3). The internal microphone is
thereby deactivated automatically. The microphone is supplied by
the 2-wire connector, also in fig. 1.

The 3.5 mm-connector can also be used as a Line IN-connector for
the transmission of stereo audio signals. In order to do this, switch
(4) has to be switched from „mic" to „line". The microphone amplifier
is deactivated then.
Caution: If the switch is turned to „mic", the amplifier of the
microphone can take damage due to high levels, if the connector is
used as line IN.
The connector (5) is intended for the attachment of a miniature video
camera (option). With an adapter cable a standard video camera can
be connected to the transmitter. Figure 2 depicts the pin
configuration of the connector (produced by Binder, series 712).

At the back of the case (see fig. 1) the optical output (6), the main
switch (7) with the control-LED (8), and the charging connector (9)
with the charging-LED (10) can be found.
The charging-LED lights up when the voltage of the batteries falls
below a level of approx. 5 V. In this case, the batteries should be
recharged. If the batteries are over-discharged, neither the charging-
LED (10) nor the control-LED (8) is burning !
