Data is the same as for the AV-R, but with 1-8 channels, 19"-case for
racks or table case, external AC/DC power supply unit, connections
for remote control, version with audio-/video-switch matrix and on-
screen display insertion (OSD) available.

3 Range of Use

3.1 AV-T/TRX

Transmission of sounds of the engine and the radio in case of
susceptibility tests (vehicle tests):
For this kind of application, the transmitter is put into the vehicle in
an appropriate position. The internal microphone is used. Via optical
cable the signal from the shielded measuring cabin is led to the
receiver. From there, the noise (e.g. engine speed) can be
monitored.
Additional monitoring of displays:
The extra small camera is installed into an appropriate position in the
vehicle (steering wheel, headrest,...). For this purpose, the camera is
equipped with a large spring clip. In addition, a standard tripod
socket is included.
The monitoring takes place on a TV screen.
The extra small camera is suitable for simple monitoring tasks, e.g.
the monitoring of an optical display or in very tight rooms.
Restrictions to the application are due to the fixed focal length of the
lens (other focal lengths available) and the missing exposure control.
Monitoring of audio-signals:
A signal-source (e.g. hi-fi-system) can be connected to the line IN of
the transmitter. The audio-signal can be monitored in high quality via
an external amplifier and a loudspeaker at the line OUT of the
receiver. An internal loudspeaker and an additional external
loudspeaker can be used for stereo sound with a slightly decreased
quality.
