AV-TRX
Operation of the AV-TRX
Switch the transceivers to the desired status (line IN or microphone,
microphone "on" or "off",...). Connect the duplex optical cables and
turn the volume control to a low level. Connect all external devices if
necessary (camera, audio- / video-cables, external microphone,
video-display etc.). The line OUT is not influenced by the volume
control.
An additional video camera can be connected if necessary. In order
to see the video-signal of the camera, an appropriate display has to
be connected, e.g. a TV or a monitor with video IN.
Turn on both transceivers (the devices are ready about 2 seconds
after turning them on) and adjust the volume level as needed.
If the system is used as an intercom the volume has to be adjusted
to an appropriate level (e.g. adjust the noise without the input signal
used
to the desired level). In this case, not more than one microphone
may be turned on permanently. The second microphone has to be
activated by pushing the button while speaking. At the same time,
any
the integrated loudspeaker is deactivated in order to prevent
acoustic feedback.
