The camera system can be used for the monitoring of displays,
vehicles, and any other devices under test (DUT). With the big zoom
range and the manifold settings which can be adjusted in order to fit
the requirements, the system can be applied to many different fields.
In addition and simultaneously to the optical monitoring, acoustic
monitoring can be conducted with the integrated microphone.
If the demands to the quality of the picture of the video and the
flexibility (zoom, exposure control, etc.) are high, this system should
be preferred to that of the extra small camera.
4 Maintenance
After use, the batteries should be recharged with the provided
charger for NiMH-batteries. The batteries have a very low memory
effect. i.e. even half-discharged batteries can be recharged right
away. The loading current must not exceed 1 A, since then the
internal fuse is released. Do not connect the transmitter to the
recharger when the transmitter is turned on ! Turn off the transmitter,
then recharge the batteries.
Some of the devices are provided with a polyswitch which trips at
overload (short circuit at the loading connector, loading current too
high) and changes to a high-impedance state.
Recharging time is approx. 6 hours with the provided charger Friwo
MPP15 / Ansmann ACS110.
The integrated batteries should be recharged after long disuse, since
NiMH-batteries have a relatively high self-discharge (approx. 20-30
% each month).
If required, the case can be cleaned with a dry or slightly moistened,
soft towel. Do not use any detergent or solvent (acetone, alcohol,
abrasive cleanser)!
There are no parts in the devices which have to be maintained by
the user. The opened housing can pose a fire hazard through short-
circuit currents ! Please send in the the complete device (transmitter
and receiver) to the manufacturer or distributor in case of
malfunction.
