NOTE: The technical specifications stated in this document regarding the measurement
(range, accuracy, resolution, etc.) refer strictly to the instrument and not to any accessories
provided, such as the probes.
This means, for example, that the error introduced by the probe must be added to the
error of the instrument.
PERMITTED USE
For safety reasons, the instrument must be installed and used according to the instructions provided. In particular, parts with dangerous voltage
levels must not be accessible in normal conditions.
The device must be adequately protected from water and dust according to the application and must also only be accessible by the use of tools
(with the exception of the front panel).
The device is ideally suited for use on household appliances and/or similar refrigeration equipment and has been tested for safety aspects in accordan-
ce with harmonised European reference standards.
UNPERMITTED USE
The unit must not be used for applications other than those described.
Note that the relay contacts provided are of a functional type and therefore subject to malfunction. Any protection devices required by productstan-
dards or dictated by common sense for obvious safety reasons must be applied externally to the instrument.

CONDITIONS OF USE
DISCLAIMER
The instrument is designed for mounting on a
panel. Drill a 150x31 mm hole and insert the
instrument, securing it to the front panel using
the screws provided.
Do not mount the instrument in humid and/or
dirty places. It is suitable for use in places with
ordinary or normal levels of pollution. Always
make sure that the area next to the cooling ope-
nings of the instrument is adequately ventilated.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Warning! Turn the machine off before
working on electrical connections.
The instrument is equipped with FASTON
connectors for connection of electrical cables.
The relay outputs are voltage free. Do not
exceed the maximum permitted current; for
higher loads, use a contactor with sufficient
power capacity.
Make sure that power supply is the correct
voltage for the device.
Probes have no connection polarity and can
be extended using a normal bipolar cable
(note that the extension of the probes influences
the instrument's electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC): take great care with the wiring).
Probe cables, power supply cables and the
TTL serial cables should be routed separately
from power cables.
RESPONSIBILITY & RESIDUAL RISKS
Eliwell will not be liable for damage resulting from:
• Installation/uses other than those specified and,
in particular, which do not comply with the safety
requirements set out in the regulations and/or sta-
ted herein;
A
• Use on panels that do not provide adequate pro-
tection against electric shock, water or dust when
assembled;
• Use on panels that allow access to dangerous
parts without having to use tools;
• Tampering and/or modification of the product;
• Installation/use on panels that do not comply with
the current standards and regulations.
