The Copy Card is an accessory which, when connected to the TTL
serial port, allows quick programming of the device parameters
(upload and download of a parameter map to or from one or
more devices of the same type). Upload (label UL), download
(label dL) and key formatting (label Fr) are operations perfor-
med as follows:
LABEL
ALARM
E1
Probe 1(room) faulty
E2
Probe 2 (evaporator) faulty
AH1
High temperature alarm
AL1
Low temperature alarm
Ad2
End of defrosting time-out reached
Opd
Door open alarm
EA
External alarm
NOTES:
• To stop any alarm, simply press one of the keys.
• If there are any alarm exclusion times (see parameters table in folder 'AL') the alarm will not be indicated.

• The commands needed to use the
Copy Card are contained in the 'FPr'
folder. Press 'set' to access the fun
ctions.
• Scroll using 'UP' and 'DOWN' to display
the required function. When you
press 'set' and upload (or download) it
will be executed.
• If the operation is successful, the
display will show 'y', if not it will show
'n'.
CAUSE
• Measured values are outside the nominal
range

• Measured values are outside the nominal
range
• Probe faulty/short-circuited/open
• Value read by probe 1 > HAL after time
"tAO" (see "ALARMS MIN MAX diagram and
description of parameters "HAL" and "Att"
and "tAO")
• Value read by probe 1 < LAL after time
"tAO" (see "ALARMS MIN MAX diagram and
description of parameters "LAL" and "Att"

• In the event of end of defrosting due to
timeout (rather than due to the end of
defrosting temperature being reached and
detected by the defrosting probe)
• In the event of open door, when the delay
time tdO has elapsed

Connect the key with the device OFF. When the device is
switched on, the programming parameters are loaded into the
device. After the lamp test, the display shows the following for
about 5 seconds:
• label dLY, if the operation is successful
• label dLn otherwise

NOTES:
• after the download operation, the instrument will work with
the newly loaded parameters map.

ALARMS
EFFECTS
Label "E1" shown on display
The controller is activated as indicated
by parameters Ont and OFt if set for
Duty Cycle
Label "E2" shown on display
Alarm created in the "AL" folder using
label AH1
Alarm created in the "AL" folder using
label AL1
Alarm created in the "AL" folder using
label "Ad2"
Alarm created in the "AL" folder using label "Opd"
NOTE: Parameter tAo does not reset when
the door is closed: this is because continual
opening and closing of the door would mean
that any alarms are never signalled.
Alarm created in the "AL" folder using
label EA
Blocks controllers only if EAL = y

Problem solving
• Check the probe wiring
• Replace probe
• Check the probe wiring
• Replace probe
• Wait until temperature value read by
probe 1 returns below HAL
• Wait for the temperature value read
by probe 1 to come back above LAL
• In a state of alarm, when any of the
keys are pressed the indicator light will
turn off. To actually delete the alarm you
have to wait until the next defrosting
operation
• Rearming is automatic
