Z170M OC Formula
These eight SATA3
connectors support SATA
data cables for internal
storage devices with up
to 6.0 Gb/s data transfer
rate. The SATA3_0,
SATA3_1 are shared with
the SATA_EXP0. The
SATA3_2, SATA3_3 are
shared with the SATA_
EXP1. To minimize the
boot time, use Intel® Z170
SATA ports (SATA3_0)
for your bootable devices.
Please connect either
SATA or PCIe storage
devices to these
connectors.
*The upper SATA Express
Connector (SATA_
EXP0) is shared with
the SATA3_0, SATA3_1
and the Ultra M.2 Socket
(M2_1).
Besides two USB 2.0 ports
on the I/O panel, there
are two headers on this
motherboard. Each USB
2.0 header can support
two ports.
