Setup, assembly and installation
4.1
Check installation requirements
WARNING!
The console must not be loaded by additional (weight) forces!

When installing, please observe the following:
n
The place of installation must be chosen the correct ambient conditions.
n
All switches and valves must be freely accessible from all sides.
n
There is enough space to install/remove the spare parts (valve, pump, etc) and to
perform maintenance and preventive maintenance work.
n
Prevent external vibrations.
n
The metering station must be located in a frost-proof room.
Ensure that there is a clearance around the metering station (min. 1500 mm)
n
n
It is recommended to mount the metering station on the wall.
NOTICE!
Please make sure that the environmental conditions given in our quotation,
and which we will have confirmed again in our order confirmation, in our
offer, are observed.
If these conditions are not met, or if you have any queries, please contact
Ecolab Engineering GmbH (see

Among the most important (relevant) ambient conditions are:

Ambient temperature
n
Humidity
n
Ventilation
n
Power Supply
Unlimited electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) to prevent measuring equipment faults
n
n
Water connections (e.g. for rinsing the system during servicing)
If the ambient conditions do not meet our specifications, it may not be possible to
complete installation/commissioning.
4.2
Setup of the metering station
4.2.1
Setup of the metering station (Attachment to the wall)
It is not possible to install the equipment on the ground.
As the pump must be located higher than the highest fluid level in the
container with the metering medium, floor installation is not possible. If no
wall is available, a suitable frame should be used. If the metering station
system is to be mounted on a separate stand, make sure that it is sturdy
enough so as not to topple over.

The system must be fixed to a solid wall using the 4 holes located at the corners of
the station. The required dowels (included) have a dimension of 10 x 60, and the
screws are 8 x 60. If the material of the wall is not suitable for conventional dowels,
alternative attachment methods that meet the latest technological standards can be
used which provide the same level of safety.
