If you are using an OGM
automatically. Metering volume monitoring is controlled externally. If you are using an
OEM connection box, you can connect the oval gear meter to the connection box and
from there connect it to the main control. In addition, the connection to a higher level
recording system is possible (PLC or similar). You can then calculate metering volumes
used in selected periods, for example.
The OGM PLUS
sends the actual values to the main control. The main control compares the actual values
to the setpoint values. If the actual values exceed the defined maximum deviation, the
main control may issue an alarm and/or shut down the metering station.
5.2.6.6 Metering volume monitoring with OGM

The metering deviation is recorded and corrected directly on the pump.
No external control is required to do this. The alarm signal is output from the pump for
further processing. Before this function is used, a calibration must be performed.
5.2.6.7 Metering volume monitoring with the SMx flow sensor
This function only applies to magnetic inductive flow measurement. This is indicated on
the type plate by "IM". For more information, see
type plate' on page 13.
If you are using an SMx magnetic inductive flow sensor, you can monitor the metering
volume automatically. The SMx magnetic inductive flow sensor measures the flow volume
of the metered medium and sends the actual values to the main control. The main control
compares the actual values to the setpoint values.
If the actual values exceed the defined maximum deviation, the main control sends an
alarm and/or shuts down the metering station.
5.2.6.8 Leak monitoring with optical leakage sensor
This function applies to the leak sensor. This is indicated on the type plate by "LE" or "LS".

The optical leakage sensor is located on the floor of the drip tray and detects when fluid
