At the storage site for the chemicals, all appliances and notice boards specified by the
relevant accident insurance scheme (e.g. safety regulations, warning boards, goggles)
must be provided.
n
Persons handling the stored metering media (chemical) must in all cases wear
appropriate protective clothes (e.g. safety goggles, gloves, and apron).
This also applies to the handling of detergent and disinfectant barrels which have not
been opened yet.

If the eyes and/or parts of the skin come in contact with chemicals, they must be
rinsed immediately and thoroughly with fresh water.
n
Any chemical which reacts with water must be first wiped off with a dry cloth, before
the affected parts of the body are rinsed with water.
n
If the chemicals are metered manually, absolute cleanliness must be ensured.
n
Check the tightness and function of all the installations for the metering and
processing of chemicals several times a day. Eliminate any problems immediately.

Before a change-over to another product is carried out, always check if the material
used for the pipes, fittings, pumps and storage containers is resistant to the new
chemical
After this first aid measure the affected person must go to a specialist!

Make sure that the storage rooms are sufficiently aerated.
Only authorized personnel may enter the storage rooms.

Installations work
NOTICE!
Material damage by using incorrect tools!
Material damage may arise by using incorrect tools during assembly,
maintenance or troubleshooting. Only use the correct tools.
DANGER!
Damage and injuries may occur if installation, maintenance or repair
work is carried out incorrectly.
– All installation, maintenance and repair work must only be performed by
authorised and trained specialist personnel in accordance with the
applicable local regulations.
– Safety regulations and prescribed protective clothing when handling
chemicals should be followed. Attention must be paid to the information
included on the product data sheet for the metering medium used.
– Prior to installation, maintenance and repair works the feeding of the
dosing medium should be disconnected and the system cleaned.
