– The operator must wear protective gloves to protect the eyes from the
chemicals.
– The operator must immediately inform the authorised person or
department in any alarm situation.
– The operator must wear the required personal protective equipment
– Only operate the Eco metering station if the splash guard is mounted
correctly. When installed correctly, the splash guard protects the
machine and the operator from uncontrolled splashes caused by
component errors or damage to the metering station.
– Before disabling the splash guard, make sure you are wearing the
correct personal protective equipment

– If individual operating parameters deviate from the technical
specifications, it is not permitted to put the metering station into
operation!
5.2.1 Switching the metering station on and off
CAUTION!
Before switching on
– Keep unauthorised persons away from the machine.
– Perform a visual inspection of the entire machine.
– Check the fill levels and chemicals.
– Unlock all systems for emergency stop operations.
– Please check if there are any external "Emergency stop mushroom-
head buttons" that are in the inactive position.
This is how the metering station switches on and off at the connection box.
1. To switch on the metering station, turn the main/service switch to position 1
(power supply ON).
2. To switch off the metering station, turn the main/service switch to position 0
(power supply OFF).
5.2.2 Switching the pump on and off
5.2.2.1 Switching the 'EcoPro' pump on and off
The pump is switched on and off via the 'ON/OFF button'
ð After switching on, you can set the viscosity and the litre volume/delivery volume.

Depending on the selected viscosity, either the left or the right LED flashes
yellow (left = low viscosity, right = high viscosity). In 'stand-by' the relevant
LED is lit green, depending on the viscosity level.
