11. Troubleshooting

Preprogrammed settings are not affected by a power cut.
However, the code lock will be non-operational during a power cut.
For security reasons, we recommend that you operate the code lock using an uninter-
ruptible power supply (as is the case for alarm systems).
The door opener doesn't work
• The changeover contact is potential-free. This means that you must use the appropriate ex-
ternal wiring since the code lock supplies no voltage/power to the door opener.
• If the door opener has polarity markings (plus/+ and minus/-), ensure that it is connected to
the code lock in the correct polarity.
• The user code or the transponder is invalid.
• The changeover contact cannot be enabled with the master transponder or the master code.
The user code or transponder is non-operational
• Check which operating mode is used; see chapter 9. c).
• If you change the code length, all programmings/settings will be deleted.
• Always hold only one transponder in front of the code lock.
• The distance between the transponder and the code lock should not exceed 2 - 3 cm.
• Metal objects in the vicinity of the code lock can impair the function of a transponder.
Other functionality issues
• Delete all existing programmings and reset the code lock to the factory settings; see chapter
9. b).
• Write down all of the settings so that you can reconfigure them again if needed.
• Check that the cables are connected correctly.
