3. Intended use

This product is designed to prevent unauthorized access to doors (e.g. in an office) and to
activate/disable alarm systems. The control is possible either via a 2- to 6-digit numerical code
and/or via a suitable transponder.
After entering a correct user code (or if you hold a tuned in transponder in front of the code lock),
a potential-free changeover contact will be enabled (for contact rating, see chapter "Technical
data"). In this case, for example, a door opener or an alarm system can be triggered.
Due to its special construction (IP66), the product can be mounted indoors and outdoors.
For safety purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for
purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use
can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.
