Entering letters and numbers
You can advance through the characters (letters or numbers) by pressing the appropria-
te button repeatedly. The following buttons are configured for the entry of figures and
numbers:

Every letter that you enter is shown as capitals.
Example: »TONY MILLER«.
Several special characters are assigned to the button »

key a second time several special characters are shown in the display. Press the appro-
priate key to select the corresponding special characters »
to view further special characters, press the key »

Function keys

You can program the five function keys (on two levels with different functions) via the PC
configuration program for the telephone. Each key is equipped with an LED that is used
to display the active function. The LEDs for the two bottom keys (4 and 5) have two co-
lors, with each color being assigned to a particular level for the function key.
Press the key two times to reach the second level for the function keys.
