12. Replacing the batteries

When the batteries are empty, the proximity switch notifies you with warning signals of the
confirmation LED and, if activated, the buzzer after every activity (LED flashes and buzzer
sounds three times after confirmation signal).
To replace the batteries proceed as described in chapter "8. d) Inserting the batteries".

The settings of FS20 SN are preserved during battery replacement.

13. Handling

Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions.
FS20 SN has been designed for outdoor use as well, provided that the housing is properly
closed.
Normally FS20 SN is installed once and remains in a fixed position in the mounting place.
Depending on the mounting place, check the condition of the product occasionally.

14. Cleaning

Only use a soft, clean cloth for cleaning the outside. For more resistant dirt, you can moisten
the cloth with lukewarm water.
Never use cleaning agents containing solvents as these may damage markings and the
surface of the housing.
To prevent dirt from getting inside the housing or on electronic parts, always clean the outside
of the housing before you open it to replace the batteries or re-programme FS20 SN.
