9. Operation

a) Quick installation using factory settings, function check

FS20 SN is operational with the factory settings described in chapter 7. b). Transmission
signals are encoded with a house code (randomly chosen when connected to power) and
address group 11 (control of multiple receivers with one transmitter).

For custom settings and programming, see the following chapters.
To set up the radio link to the receiver, the house code and the address have to be transmitted
to the receiver first:
• Put the respective receiver into address programming mode according to its operating
instructions.
• Press button 2 on the keypad of FS20 SN. The status LED on the receiver goes out.
• Test the switching function by shortly pressing button 1 or button 2 on FS20 SN. The receiver
must go on and off again.
• Make another switching test by touching the sensor. The confirmation LED and the buzzer
both indicate a switching command has been sent to the receiver (factory settings: LED
flashes once and buzzer emits one confirmation sound).
At every touch of the sensor the on-time is reset to the set period of one minute.

Now FS20 SN is operational with factory settings.
b) Assembling the device
• If you do not wish to make further adjustments, put the
electronic unit back into the housing. Make sure you
insert it correctly: The batteries point inwards towards
the foam (3), the sensor board (1) points outwards.
• Make sure the rubber seal (2) is properly positioned in
the cover groove before you screw the housing cover
back on using the four cover screws.
