k) Setting time zone
You can set a time offset for the different time zones. This is taken away or added to the DCF
time.
• Press the "MODE" button as many times until "ZONE" appears on the display above the time.
• Press the "MODE" button (approx. 2 seconds) until "0:00+" flashes.
• With the " " and " " button on the front of the base station the time offset can now be set
to DCF time.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button to save the setting.
l) Setting language for the weekday
The DCF clock does not only always display the accurate time and date (in the case of activated
and faultless radio reception) but also the weekday. However, the abbreviation for the weekday
varies in many countries, eg "So" for Sunday in Germany and "Su" for Sunday in England.
This is why you can set the language. For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" display above time), change to the normal time display (eg.
12:15:05) by briefly pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Press the "MODE" button (approx. 2 seconds) until the abbreviation of the language appears
on the top right on the display instead of the running second. Depress the button.
• You can choose the desired language with the " " and " " button on the front of the base
station.
DE = German
FR = French
IT
= Italian
SP = Spanish
EN = English
• Now press the "MODE" button until the normal time display reappears (and no setting option
flashes anymore).
