i) Switching the DCF reception on / off

As already mentioned in chapter 9, the DCF reception can be switched on or off.
• Once the batteries are inserted, the DCF reception is automatically switched on.
• Turn off the DCF reception by pressing the " " button on the front of the base station until
the radio tower icon disappears on the top right of the display (hold button down for about
2 seconds).
• Press the " " on the front again for about 2 seconds to switch the DCF reception back on.
The radio tower icon is displayed flashing. This means the base station is carrying out a
reception attempt for the DCF signal.
Do not move the base station during that time.
The reception attempt can take 3-10 minutes.
• Of course you can also set the time and date of the base station manually if you don't get
any DCF radio reception.

j) Switching between hour/date display

By pressing the "MODE" button briefly, you can switch between different display formats in
succession:
• hour/minute/second
• hour/minute/weekday
• hour/minute/weekday of set time zone
• hour/minute/second of set time zone
• date
