• Choose one of the three transmission channels (1,2 or 3)
with the "CHANNEL" sliding switch, located above the
battery compartment.
If only one outdoor sensor is used, this setting
is irrelevant.
Later, the base station will only show lines for
non-existing sensors on the respective LC
display field for outdoor temperature and
outdoor air humidity.
It is imperative that you set the transmission
channel before inserting the batteries. If not,
the change to another channel will not be
recognised.
• Once a transmission channel is selected, insert
two AA size batteries with correct polarity into the
battery compartment (pay attention to plus/+ and
minus/-). There is a corresponding illustration in
the battery compartment.
As already mentioned, we recommend high-
quality alkaline batteries. Especially when tem-
peratures are cold outdoors, do these batteries
offer bigger reserves compared to simple zinc
carbon batteries or rechargeable batteries.
• If there no display appears, you can press the reset button
which is counter-sunk in the housing with, eg a toothpick.
Check the polarity of the inserted batteries, control their
condition (are batteries empty?).
Take out the batteries and put them in again, try out
different (new) batteries.
