5-5. Extracting Data from the RS-232C

Data can be extracted using the "R" command or the "M" command.
The "R" command outputs the data specified by the initial settings. The data output at this time is the latest value which is
recalculated each time the "R" command request is received.
Other data is extracted using the "M" command (memory data output).
With the "M" command, data is output immediately as it is not recalculated each time a request is received. However, this data
is not the latest value, but is instead the previously calculated data.

"R" command communication speed: Approximately 20 data/s (max.) when used at 9600 bps
"M" command communication speed: Approximately 30 data/s (max.) when used at 9600 bps
• To output the current value → "MN" command
• To output the peak-to-peak value → "MP" command
• To output the minimum value → "MI" command
• To output the maximum value → "MA" command
• To output the comparator setting value → "MC011" command
Note
When performing RS-232C communication, be sure to wait for transmission to finish before receiving, and to
wait for reception to finish before transmitting. If reception (transmission) is attempted during transmission
(reception), communication cannot be performed correctly. (Communication must follow the half-duplex format.)
