"Initial values" and "Setting hints"
The initial values are input to the initial setting items. Therefore, it is not necessary to set all items and operation is possible
simply by setting only the necessary items. (See "RS-232C initial setting menu configuration" on the previous page.) The "initial
values" and "setting hints" for each setting item are given below.
1 RS-232C format setting
This sets the RS-232C communication format.
For individual input:

2 Link connection setting
Multiple LZ51-C RS-232C units can be connected. The same RS-232C communication can be performed for up to four sets
consisting of one LY51 and one LZ51-C each.

3 Data output request command setting
This sets the data that is output when the data output request command "R" is input. (See "5-5. Extracting data from the RS-
