c) Switch on the Transmitter and the Vehicle

• Let go of the control lever (2) so that it is in the middle position. Also release the steering wheel (3).
• Now first switch on the transmitter with the on/off switch (1) (push the slider in the direction of the steering wheel),
so that the display appears. Wait until the battery/rechargeable battery voltage is displayed.
• Switch on the vehicle. The on/off switch is located at the top of the vehicle; see figure in chapter 9. b). The LED (11)
on the receiver is lit when the receiver has recognised a correct control signal from the transmitter.
Always proceed in this order - first switch on the transmitter, then the vehicle. Ensure that you do not move
the control lever (2) and the steering wheel (3) while switching on, but that they remain in their home posi-
tions (middle positions).
If the LED (11) goes out after the vehicle is switched on, the receiver has not recognised a correct transmit-
ter signal (the transmitter is off or the receiver is not logged on to the transmitter; see chapter 12).

d) Controlling the Vehicle

Put the ready-to-run vehicle on the ground. Do not reach into the drive, and to not hold the vehicle at its rims.
Operate the control lever for the drive function at the transmitter very cautiously and do not drive too quickly
at the beginning until you get used to the car's reactions. Do not make any quick and jerky movements with
the operating elements of the remote control.
If the vehicle tends to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim on the transmitter accordingly.
The following figures are only to illustrate the functions and do not necessarily correspond to the design of
the transmitter provided.
1. Start the motor:
After activating the transmitter and the vehicle, you need to start the engine as in a real car.
For this, move the control lever (2) at the transmitter entirely back to the grip once and then release the control
lever again (neutral/middle position). The sound generator in the vehicle emits a starting sound; then an idling
motor sound can be heard. The vehicle can only then be moved forward or backward with the control lever (2).
The above process is necessary in order to move the vehicle; you always must start the motor first and then
wait for the motor idling sound. Only then can you drive the vehicle.
2. Middle position/neutral position
The vehicle rolls to a halt or does not move anymore (if necessary, adjust the trim control for the driving function
at the transmitter). After about 5 seconds without any further operation of the transmitter via the control lever (2)
or the steering wheel (3), the sound generator in the vehicle is putting out a sound of switching off the motor.
