Installing the CNS-1 Shield / Visor
1. Move the CNS-1 Shield / Visor to the install/
remove position described in step 2 of "Removing
the CNS-1 Shield / Visor." Insert shield / visor hook
(B) into the hook rail (Drawing 4).
2. While pressing the area indicated by the arrow
(Drawing 6), lower the shield / visor by one click.
The trigger will rise as the shield / visor clicks, and
hook (A) will fit into the hook rail.
3. Follow the same procedure to install the other
side.
4. Confirm that the shield / visor hook and gear fit
properly into the shield / visor base.
WARNING
If the hook and gear are not securely fastened in the
shield / visor base, the shield / visor may come loose
while riding and an accident may unexpectedly occur.
After installing the CNS-1 Shield / Visor, open and
close the shield / visor a few times to confirm that
the hook and gear fit securely. With the shield / visor
completely closed, confirm that the shield / visor tab is
clasped by the hook.

Installation de l'écran CNS-1
1. Placez l'écran CNS-1 en position d'insertion /
extraction décrit dans le point 2 « 'extraction de
l'écran CNS-1 ». Insérez le crochet (B) dans le rail
(schéma 4).
2. Tout en appuyant sur la zone indiquée par la
fleche (schéma 6), descendez l'écran d'un cran.
La gâchette s'actionnera automatiquement lors du
« clic », et le crochet (A) s'insèrera dans le rail.
3. Suivez la même procédure pour l'autre coté.
4. Vérifiez que le mécanisme d'écran soit bien
verrouillé dans la platine de fixation.
ATTENTION
Si les crochets d'écran ne sont pas fermement insérés
dans la platine de fixation, l'écran peut se détacher en
roulant, ce qui peut être une cause d'accident. Une
fois l'écran CNS-1 remonté, ouvrez et fermez l'écran
à plusieurs afin de vérifier sa fixation correcte. Une
fois l'écran fermé, vérifiez que l'ergot latéral soit bien
maintenu par le crochet de mâchoire.

Important Notice about Handling
the CNS-1 Shield / Visor
1. Dirt and scratches on the shield / visor may
obstruct your view while riding and can be very
dangerous! If the CNS-1 shield / visor gets dirty
or scratched, stop using it immediately. Remove
the shield / visor and clean or replace it.
2. The CNS-1 shield / visor should be cleaned
with a solution of mild, neutral soap and water.
Rinse well with pure water then wipe dry with
a soft cloth. Do not use any of the following
cleaning materials: hot water over 40°C; salt
water; any acidic or alkali detergent; benzine,
thinner, gasoline, or other organic solvents;
glass cleaner; or any cleaner containing
organic solvents. If any of these cleaners are
used, the shield's / visor's chemical nature may
be altered and safety may be hindered.
3. Do not ride with a shield / visor that is fogged.
This may obstruct your view and can be very
dangerous. If the CNS-1 shield / visor is fogged,
open the lower air intake to circulate air within
the helmet and remove the fog from the shield /
visor.
4. Remove the protective film before using the
shield / visor for the first time.
5. Do not place any sticker or tape in the shield's /
visor's field of vision.
WARNING
l CNS-1tinted shield/visor is not for sale or use
in USA. If tinted shield/visor and sun visor are
used together in USA, requirement of light
transmission ratio specified in VESC-8* is not
satisfied. Don't use tinted shield/visor to your
helmet in a manner not satisfying VESC-8*.
Otherwise, your vision restricted by tinted shield/
visor may cause an accident and serious injury
or death.

This standard is widely referenced and applied
by the 36 states in USA with motorcyclist eye
protection use law.

Points importants sur le
maniement de l'écran CNS-1
1. Les rayures et salissures peuvent obstruer le
champ de vision et rendre l'utilisation du casque
dangereuse. Si l'écran CNS-1 devient sale ou
rayé, arrêtez immédiatement son utilisation.
Retirez l'écran et nettoyez le, ou si besoin
remplacez le.
2. L'écran CNS-1 doit être nettoyé à l'aide d'un
mélange d'eau et de savon doux. N'utilisez
aucun des produits de nettoyage suivants:
eau chaude de plus de 40°C, eau salée,
détergent acide ou alcalin, essence, diluant,
solvant organique, produit à vitres, ou tout
produit de nettoyage contenant des solvants
organiques. Si l'un de ces produits nettoyants
était utilisé, la structure chimique de l'écran en
serait altérée, réduisant grandement son niveau
de protection.
3. Ne roulez pas avec un écran embué. Ceci peut
gêner la visibilité et s'avérer très dangereux. Si
l'écran s'embue, ouvrez l'écope de ventilation
basse afin d'augmenter la circulation d'air frais et
réduire le phénomène de buée.
4. Retirez le film extérieur de protection de l'écran
avant sa première utilisation.
5. N'apposez aucun autocollant ou adhésif à
l'intérieur du champ de vision de l'écran.
ATTENTION
l L'écran/la visière tintée CNS-1 n'est pas en
vente et ne peut être utilisée aux États-Unis.
Utiliser un écran/une visière teinté(e) avec un
pare-soleil aux États-Unis ne respecte pas le
rapport de transmission lumineuse spécifié dans
la norme VESC-8*. N'utilisez pas d'écran/visière
teinté(e) sur votre casque d'une manière qui ne
respecte pas la norme VESC-8*. Votre visibilité
pourrait alors être obstruée par l'écran/visière
teinté(e), ce qui pourrait entraîner un accident et
des blessures graves ou la mort.
