Adjusting the Hi/Lo switch (motor speed)

Low power
To extend the battery life, always try to spray at a low
motor speed. If you do not achieve acceptable spraying
results, switch to speed level II as needed.

Initial operation

Flammable vapours in the work area (such as solvents
and paint vapours) can explode or ignite.
See the instructions on grounding, page 145.
Do not spray combustible or flammable liquids in cram-
ped spaces.
The spraying area must be well ventilated at all times.
The spraying area must be well aerated at all times.

Adjusting the pressure
Minimum pressure setting maximum pressure setting
1.
To reduce overspray, always spray with the lowest
possible pressure that achieves acceptable spraying
results.
2. Spray a test pattern set the pressure to achieve the
desired coverage.
3. With some materials, you may notice that no materi-
al is sprayed if the pressure setting is too low. In this
case, set the pressure regulator to a higher pressure.
Note:
Your spray gun is NOT designed for aggressive cleaning
agents such as chloride bleaches. The use of this kind of
cleaning agent will damage the spray gun.
Note:
Do NOT shake the materials to be used with this spray
gun. With some fine coating lacquers and enamel lac-
quers inclusions occur on shaking; this can impair the
function of the spray gun. Stir the material or follow the
manufacturer's recommendations for the material to be
sprayed.
