Power pack risks
The power pack can leak, explode, burn, or cause explosions if it is handled improperly. The contents of an opened
power pack can cause skin irritation and/or chemical burns. In case of contact with skin, clean with water and soap. In
the event of contact with the eyes rinse with clean water for at least 15 minutes and consult a doctor immediately.
Only replace the power pack in a well-ventilated area and at a sufficient distance from combustible or flammable
materials such as paints or solvents.
If the power pack is not in use, protect against objects such as keys, nails, screws or other metal objects that can
cause a short circuit of the power pack terminals.
When spraying combustible materials, only use original power packs from the scope of delivery.
Do dispose of in fire.
The power pack may only be charged with the device indicated in this manual.
Do not charge and store at temperatures below 0°C and above 45°C.
Do not use at temperatures below 4°C and above 32°C.
Do not expose the power pack to water or the rain.
Do not take apart, crush, or drill into the power pack.
Observe local ordinances and regulations for disposal.
Danger of electrical shock, fire and explosion from charger
Incorrect setting up or use can cause electrical shock, fire, and explosions.
Only charge the power pack in a well-ventilated area and at a sufficient distance from combusti-
ble or flammable materials such as paints or solvents.
Do not charge on combustible or flammable surfaces.
Do not leave the power pack unattended during charging.
After charging is completed, immediately disconnect the charger from the power supply or remove the power pack.
Only recharge power packs authorised by STORCH and listed in this manual; other power packs could cause an
explosion.
Only use in a dry environment. Never expose to water or the rain.
Do not use the charger if it has cracks or other damage.
If the power cable is damaged, either the charger or the cable must be replaced depending on the model.
Never force the power pack into the charger.
If the battery charger is operated outdoors, this must always be in a dry place and using an extension cable suitable
for outdoor use.
Isolate the battery charger from the mains supply before cleaning.
Ensure that the outer surface of the power pack is clean and dry before you insert in the charger.
Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Do not dismantle the charger. If the charger needs to be serviced or repaired, have this work done by an authorised
service centre.
Danger due to pressurised aluminium parts
Use of materials that are not compatible with aluminium in devices under pressure can cause severe chemical
reactions and cause the device to break. Failure to observe this warning can cause serious to fatal injury, or dama-
ge to property.
Never use 1,1,1 trichloroethane, methylene chloride, other halogenated hydrocarbon solvents, or fluids that
contain such solvents.
Many other fluids may contain chemicals that are not compatible with aluminium. Have compatibility confirmed by
the manufacturer of the materials.
Danger due to toxic liquids or fumes
Toxic liquids or fumes can cause serious or fatal injury in case of eye or skin contact, or if inhaled or swallo-
wed.
You will find notes on special risks for the materials that you are using in the appropriate material safety
data sheets.
Only store hazardous liquids in approved containers and dispose of these liquids in line with appropriate
regulations.
Protective equipment
You must use or wear the appropriate protective equipment during operation and maintenance of the device, or if you
are simply in the work area, to help protect yourself against serious injury, for example eye injuries, or inhaling
toxic vapours, burns or hearing damage. The following protective equipment is required for use of this device:
Wear safety goggles and hearing protection.
Breathing devices, protective clothing, and gloves must correspond with recommendations of the material
