Starting up after a change or topping up the cup

When spraying with flammable or combustible materials:

•

When topping up, remove the entire spray gun from

the danger area.

•

Always ground the material container during topping

up.

•

Keep the original material container covered if you

are not topping up the material container on the

device.

Lock the trigger lock and move the ventilation/pres-

sure relief valve to the up position to relieve the pres-

sure.

2. Install the material container insert; fill the container

with material and screw it onto the spray gun.

3. Release the trigger lock and actuate the spray gun

for 10 seconds to bleed the pump. Then release the

trigger and move the ventilation/pressure relief valve

down to spraying position.

4. Turn the nozzle to cleaning position and pull the trig-

ger for approximately 5 seconds, aiming into a catch-

ment container.

5. Move the ventilation/pressure release valve to the up

position to relieve the pressure. Swivel the spray noz-

zle back to the spraying position.

Note:

If this process is not completed, the spray pattern may be

impaired.

If the spray gun does not bleed, follow the alternative

ventilation method (Page 142).
