Assembly

Hoeing tools
Slide the hoeing tools (2 - MHB 40) or (3 – MHB 60) on
the driving shaft from the left and right side.
Secure the hoeing tools using the bolts (38) and cotter
pins (39).
Secure the cotter pins against dropping out by bending
their ends using nippers.
Transport wheel
Guide the transport wheel (5) in the wheel holder
/
(a) – Position (transport position).
Secure it using the screw (40), washers (41) and hexagon
nut (42).
Do not tighten the hexagon nut too firmly.
Make sure that the transport wheel can still be turned.
Guide the open end of the spring (6) in the provided hole
(b) in the protective cover (7).
Slide the eyelet of the spring on the swivel shaft (c) of the
transport wheel and secure it using the spring cotter pin (44).
Hoeing spur
Guide the hoeing spur (4) in the holder (d).
Secure the hoeing spur using the bolt (43) and spring cotter
pin (44).

Mount the protective cover (8/9) on the protective cover
(7) on the right and left sides using the 6 screws (45), 12
washers (47), 6 spring washers (46) and 6 nuts (48).

The engine of the hoeing machine is supplied without fuel

and oil in it.
Fuel the hoeing machine as described under "Fuelling".

Engine oil

Use a high-grade oil (SAE 10W-30) with classification "SF" or
higher.
Together with the recommended oil no other specific
additives are needed.
Do not mix the oil with gasoline.
When using SAE 30 oil at temperatures under 10°C it is
hard to start the engine and the cylinder bore may be
damaged due to insufficient lubrication.
Oil capacity: 0,6 l
Filling engine oil
Remove the oil filling plug (28).
Slowly pour oil into the hole.
Tighten the oil filling plug.
Wipe off oil residues/spilling.
Oil level checking
To check the oil level the unit must
− rest on level ground
− be switched off.
