11 Operating the Lawn Mower

11.1 Holding and guiding the lawn
mower
► Hold the handlebar firmly with both hands so
that your thumbs wrap around the handlebar.
11.2

Adjusting the front wheel

11.2.1 Locking the front wheel
The front wheel can be locked in a direction to
facilitate mowing on slopes or in straight mowing
tracks.
► Shut off the engine.
► Pull off the spark plug boot.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Align the front wheel (1) in a straight line.
► Push the adjustment element (2) to the "Front
wheel locked"(3) position and allow it to
engage.
11.2.2 Unlocking the front wheel
The front wheel can be adjusted so that it can
rotate freely by 360°.
► Shut off the engine.
► Pull off the spark plug boot.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.

► Push the adjustment element (1) in the "360°
rotation" (2) position and allow it to engage.
11.3

Setting the cutting height

5 different cutting heights can be selected:
– 30 mm = Position 1
– 45 mm = Position 2
– 60 mm = Position 3
– 75 mm = Position 4
– 85 mm = Position 5
The cutting height is set separately at the front
and rear wheels. The cutting height setting at the
front and the rear must be identical.
Setting the front cutting height
► Shut off the engine.
The cutting blade must not be turning.
► Pull off the spark plug boot.
► Place the lawn mower on a level surface.
► Hold the wheel fork (1) firmly with one hand.
The lawn mower cannot drop into the lowest
position under its own weight.
► Press the release lever (2) in the direction of
the arrow and hold it.
► Push the adjustment element (3) to the "Adjust
cutting height" position and allow it to engage.
