Is the equipment grounded reliably?
•
Are the electrodes or patient cable connected correctly?
•
Are electrodes and skin applied with gel?
•
Is the metal bed reliably grounded?
•
Is the patient touching a metal part of the bed or wall?
•
Has anyone else touched the patient?
•
Are there any high-power electrical equipment nearby? (such as X-ray machines or
ultrasonic instruments)
•
Is the patient wearing jewelry such as glass or precious gemstone?
•
The signal channel of the equipment has malfunction. Please contact our after-sales service
department or the designated repair unit.
If the AC interference cannot be removed after the above measures, please change the
setting of AC Filter.
8.4 EMG Interference
The baseline jitter of the recorded ECG waveform is as follows :

Check whether the indoor environment is comfortable?
•
Is the patient nervous?
•
Is the bed too small for the patient?
•
Did you talk to the patient during the recording?
•
Are the electrode clamps on the limbs too tight?
•
Are electrodes and skin applied with gel?
•
The patient cable is faulty. Check the patient cable according to the method described
in 4.3. If the problem still exists, please contact our after-sales service department or the
designated repair point unit.
•
The signal channel of the equipment has malfunction. Please contact our after-sales service
department or the designated repair unit.
8.5 Baseline Drift
The baseline of the recorded ECG wave moves up and down irregularly, as shown below :
This phenomenon may be caused by the following reasons, please check and eliminate in turn:

Is the electrode installation stable?
•
Is the lead wire in good contact with the electrode?
•
Are the electrodes and patient skin clean?
•
Is gel applied to the skin where electrodes placed?
•
Is it caused by movement or breathing of the patient?
•
Are the old electrodes mixed with the new ones?
