Assemble the sliding hatch from parts 3.27 to
3.30. Glue the frames 3.28 into the floor 3.27.
Insert the two end mouldings 3.29 and glue on
the cover 3.30.

In the last step, glue on the engraved sliding
hatch 3.31. Insert the finished sliding hatch into
the roof and slip the slide rails 3.32 under the
edge and glue them to the roof.

Next, make the skylight on the foredeck from
parts 3.33 to 3.39. Bevel parts 3.33 and 3.34 at
the vertical joining edges so that they fit mitred
on the engraved markings on the deck. Glue
the cover 3.35 and crossbar 3.36 to the frame
and stain if desired. Now prime the whole thing
and paint it matt/silk matt. Glue the window
glass from inside. Use a clear glue for this, e.g.
R/C Modeller Canopy Glue order no. 44126.
The skylight can now be glued to the deck. Cut
out the porthole from the etching plate and
glue it on.

Glue the two hinges 3.32 to the edge of the
skylight.
Cover the transition between deck and hull
with rubbing strake 3.43 and toe rail 3.42 (see
drawing 1). There are 3 mouldings in each
case so that they can be joined together for the
entire length.
