After this step, the hull is also protected
against water ingress.
Stage 3, deck, superstructure and cockpit
Now fit the two superstructure side sections
3.2 as a test and lay the deck. Mark the cut-out
for the forestay fitting.

Cut out the recess for the foresail fitting. Drill
two small holes and cut out the gap with a
sharp knife.
Make the forestay fitting from the sheet metal
strip 2.58 according to the drawing. Bend the
ends so that the fitting cannot be pulled out
upwards.

The two superstructure sides 3.2 can now be
glued in place.

To ensure that the deck rests securely, cut off
pieces of strip 2.44 on the inside of the ends of
the superstructure sides and glue them in
place.
