System Startup

Power-on Self-test

The monitor performs a self-test each time it is turned on. This process allows the monitor to check
various systems for proper operation. The monitor displays the startup screen during the power-on
self-test. When the test is successfully completed the ECOTWIN displays the monitoring screen.
If a malfunction is detected an error message displays and an error tone is sounded. The error tone
will continue until the power is turned off. If this occurs, remove the monitor from service until
appropriate action is taken.
