Before commissioning
• Before connecting the machine, make certain that
the data on the type plate matches with the mains
power data.
• Prior to initial commissioning, remove the transport
plug (F) and fill the compressor pump housing with
oil as described in item 8.4.
• Check the device for transport damage. Report
any damage immediately to the transport company
which was used to deliver the compressor.
• Install the compressor near the point of consump-
tion.
• Long air lines and supply cables (extension cable)
should be avoided.
• Ensure that the intake air is dry and dust-free.
• Do not deploy the compressor in damp or wet areas.
• Operate the compressor only in suitable areas (well
ventilated, ambient temperature +5°C to 40°C).
There must be no dust, acids, vapours, explosive
gases or inflammable gases in the room.
• The compressor is designed to be used in dry
rooms. It must not be used in areas where splashed
water is present.

• To attach the wheels (12), first guide a washer with
the wheel bolt through the wheel. Then add a wash-
er and a hexagonal nut on the inside of the wheel.
Now tighten the nut by hand far enough so that the
wheel can still rotate.
• Slide the wheel unit through the bracket beneath
the tank.
• Attach it with a washer, safety washer and nut and
tighten them.

• Attach the rubber feet to the bracket at the bottom
on the front of the tank using the screws, washers
and nuts provided.

• Warning: The air filter must be mounted before ini-
tial use. Operating without the air filter damages the
compressor and voids the warranty.
• Remove the transport plug (G) and screw the air
filter (15) to the device.
8.4
• Remove the transport cap (E) from the oil filling
opening (F).
• Fill the compressor oil supplied into the compressor
pump housing and fit the enclosed oil plug (14) into
the oil filling opening (F).
• Check the oil level using the sight glass (16). The
oil level must be within the red circle.
8.5
• The compressor is equipped with a mains cable
with an earthed plug. This can be connected to any
mains socket 230 V~ 50 Hz with an earth contact
and that is protected at 16 A.
