INSTALL THE SENSORS
1. Sensors are marked as "fork" and "rear" and must be positioned accordingly.
The system will not function properly if "fork" and "rear" sensors are
switched.
2. Mount the sensors directly above the brake caliper with the centering
washers positioned above the sensor bracket. Do not position the sensor
mounting tab between a brake adapter and the caliper.
3. There are two different bolt lengths provided with each sensor to
accommodate the sensor tab thickness and various brake adapter
thicknesses. Utilize the correct bolt length for your application.
4. Mount each sensor using only one bolt. Mount the fork sensor on the front
brake caliper, using the top brake mounting bolt. Mount the rear sensor on
the rear brake caliper, using the brake mounting bolt closest to the front of
the bike.
IMPORTANT: Each sensor must be aligned to approximately parallel to each
brake caliper body.
5. Tighten the fork sensor brake bolt to your brake manufacturer's
recommended torque, but do not exceed 90 in-lb (10.2 N·m).
6. Tighten the rear sensor brake bolt to your frame manufacturer's
recommended torque.
INSTALL THE HANDLEBAR SWITCH (OPTIONAL)
Your system may or may not include a handlebar switch. The handlebar switch
gives you quick access to 3 preset tunes. Use the Live Valve Neo App to
customize your preset tunes. You can select from different "Live" modes, or you
can choose a fully open or fully closed mode. By default, there are two different
Live modes and a fully open mode loaded on the controller.
1. Install the handlebar switch on either side of the handlebar. In order to orient
the handlebar switch to your desired position, you may need to remove and
reinstall a small plastic piece on the switch which lets the cable exit to the
right or left.
2. Rotate the handlebar switch so the logo appears on the top. Make sure the
wire routes under the bar and does not conflict with brakes, shifters, or
cables/housing. Tighten the handlebar switch clamp bolt just enough to
prevent it from rotating. Do not exceed a torque of 2 in-lb (0.23 N·m).
Do not overtighten the handlebar switch clamp bolt. Doing so can cause
damage or break the clamp.
3. Install the satellite under the bar to protect it from any potential damage during a crash, during transportation, etc.
Make sure to align the tab on the satellite with the notch in the band clamp. Then torque the satellite clamp bolt to
4 in-lb (0.45 N·m).
