CALIBRATE THE SYSTEM
Calibration is best done using the Live Valve Neo App. You can also follow the sequence below. The Live Valve system will not
function properly unless it is calibrated correctly. Your Live Valve system uses fork and rear sensors to determine the orientation
(incline/decline) of your bike at any one moment. The calibration process sets an accurate baseline for the sensors. As the angle
of your bike increases or decreases from the baseline, your suspension will adjust accordingly. A purple LED rotating around
the power button indicates a need for calibration.
Hopefully, your professional bicycle mechanic has already completed the calibration sequence. However, this step is
critical to ensuring the system responds appropriately to terrain. It is OK to repeat calibration using the Ride FOX Bike
App or the sequence below.
1. Ensure the fork and rear sensors are installed properly before you begin. Press the Power button to turn the system on.
2. Make sure the bike is upright/vertical (not leaning either direction), still, and on a level horizontal surface. Make sure the
front wheel is straight.
3. Press and hold the pairing button on the controller.
4. With the pairing button pressed, press and hold the power button on the controller for at least one second. Then release
both the pairing button and the power button at the same time.
5. Once a blue LED flashes, this indicates a successful calibration.
NOTE: A red flashing LED indicates an issue with calibration. Check that your bike is level and that the front wheel is straight.
Check the fork and rear sensors and wake them, if needed, by bumping both wheels on the ground. Then try the calibration
sequence again.
CALIBRATION MAINTENANCE
The system requires recalibration over time when the bike and components are serviced, replaced, or adjusted. Make sure to
recalibrate after the following:
• Install a different length fork (changes head angle)
• Adjust a flip chip on the frame (changes the head angle)
• Install a new bump sensor (i.e. crash replacement)
• Components are serviced (i.e. brake pad maintenance, which includes removal and reinstallation of sensors)
