Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in any electrical appliance. This does not necessarily mean that
there is a defect in the appliance. Therefore, please check whether or not you can correct
the fault using the table.

Never try to repair the appliance yourself. This could endanger yourself and sub-

Solutions, tips, explanations
– Check to ensure that the mains plug is po-
sitioned correctly.
– Check the socket by connecting another
electric device.
– Check the fuse.
– Clean the grease filters regularly (see
chapter 'Cleaning the grease filters').
– Clean the grease filters and/or renew the
activated charcoal filters (see chapter 'Care
and maintenance').
– The exhaust hood expels a large amount of
exhaust air. This is why you need to
provide a sufficient air supply, e.g. by
providing non-sealable openings in doors,
windows and ventilation conduits.
– Observe the safety notices (see chapter
'Safety').
– Check whether the exhaust air hose is bent
or too long.
