Inserting/replacing activated
charcoal filters
The activated coal filters remove odours.
They have to be replaced as soon as the
cooking odours can no longer be ad-
equately filtered.
If used frequently, you should change the
filters regularly. Check them at least every
6 months.
For the source of supply, please see
chapter 'Service'.
1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the
corresponding circuit.

2. Open the lock (19) and carefully re-
move the grease filter (18).
3. Repeat this step for the second grease
filter.
4. Only when replacing the charcoal filters:
Release the two activated charcoal fil-
ters on the left and right of the motor
and take them out.

5. Place the new activated charcoal filters
(20) to the right and left of the motor
(21) as shown and tighten them in an
anti-clockwise direction. Allow the locks
to snap into place.

6. Place a grease filter (18) with the pins
into the openings.
7. Slide the lock (19) downwards.
8. Close the grease filter (18) and release
the lock.
9. Repeat the last two steps for the
second grease filter.
10. Switch the power back on.
11. Dispose of the used charcoal filters with
household waste.
