CD/CDV (Audio part)
PARTICULAR FUNCTIONS FOR CD
Since the picture circuit is deactivated and the interference
between signals is eliminated with the Direct CD function,
more pure sound can be reproduced.
DIRECT CD

Press DIRECT CD on the front panel.
The DIRECT CD button is illuminated.
Press 4 or m/4 to open the CD disc table.
The CD disc table comes out.
Load a disc.
Press >/Il or > to start playback.
When the Direct CD function is activated, the player does
not display information.
In Direct CD mode, time for starting play becomes short
compared with that of normal play operation.

To exit Direct CD mode:
Press DIRECT CD again. Also, when the video part of CDV is played,
Direct CD mode is canceled automatically.
To play an LD:
Cancel the Direct CD mode by pressing DIRECT CD.
NOTES:

During LD play, the player does not enter Direct CD mode even if
DIRECT CD is pressed.
During CDV play, the player automatically turns on and off the
picture circuitaccording to the video part or audio part in the Direct
CD mode.

You can select the Direct CD mode even when the LD disc table
is left opened. To enter the Direct CD mode, press DIRECT CD.
The DIRECT CD button is blinking while the LD disc table is
closing.
After the LD disc table is completely closed, press & or @/&
to
open the CD disc table.
If
orm!& is pressed during the LD disc tables closing, the Direct
CD mode is canceled and the LD disc table comes out.
On screen display:
The information is displayed on the blue screen by pressing the
DISPLAY button on the remote control unit. Also, when programming
or editing, the information is displayed.
By turning off the screen display or canceling the input mode, the
player automatically turns off the picture circuit, and the screen turns
to black.

Du fait que le circuit d'image est désactivé et que l'interférence

Presser DIRECT CD sur Je panneau avant.
Le bouton DIRECT CD s'éclaire.
Appuyer sur 4 ou sur 8/4 pour ouvrir le tiroir du CD.
Le tiroir du CD s'ouvre.
Charger un disc.
Presser >/I! ou > pour commencer la lecture.
Quand la fonction CD direct est activée, le lecteur n'affiche
pas |'information.
En mode CD direct, la durée pour commencer la lecture
diminue comparée au fonctionnement de lecture normale.

Pour sortir du mode CD direct:
Presser DIRECT CD & nouveau. De plus, quand ia partie vidéo du CDV
est lue, le mode CD direct est automatiquement annulé.
Pour lire un LD:
Annuler le mode Direct CD en appuyant sur la touche DIRECT CD.
REMARQUES:
e@ Enlecture LD, le lecteur n'entre pas en mode CD direct méme si
DIRECT CD est pressée.
Dans le mode CD direct et pendant la lecture d'un CDV, le lecteur
met sous tension ou hors tension les circuits vidéo en fonction du
passage lu, audio ou vidéo.
e@ Vous pouvez choisir le mode CD direct méme si le tiroir pour LD
est ouvert.
Pour venir dans le mode CD direct, appuyer sur
DIRECT
CD. La touche DIRECT CD clignote pendant la fermeture
du tiroir.
Lorsque le tiroir pour LD est complétement fermé, appuyer
sur &
Ou Sur @/& pour ouvrir le tiroir pour CD.
Sion appuie sur & ou sur ™/4 pendant la fermeture du tiroi pour
LD, le mode CD direct est annulé et le tiroir pour LD s'ouvie.
Affichage sur I'écran:
Les informations sont affichées sur un écran bleu dés que l'on appuie
sur la touche DISPLAY, sur la télécommande. De méme au cous de
la programmation ou de I'édition, les informations sont affichées.
En annulant!'affichage sur |'écran ou le mode d'entrée, le lecteu rnet
automatiquement hors service le circuit d'images et !'écran deyient
noir.
