Writing Image Data to a CD-R
Image data can be written to a CD-R from image data
stored on a disk or scanned from a photograph or film.
Notes
• Image data can be stored only on a blank disc.
Images cannot be written to a CD-R that contains
previously stored data.
• Image data cannot be stored on a CD-RW.
• Data stored on a CD-ROM or CD-R cannot be stored
directly to another CD-R.
• When image data is written to a CD-R, it cannot be
rotated, the color cannot be corrected, and the number
of copies cannot be specified.

Perform one of the following procedures.
• If you want to write stored image data to a CD-R,
follow the procedure from Step 1 of "Selecting
Media Where Image Data is Stored" (page 7) to
Step 2 of "Selecting the Output Image". (page 9)
At this time, touch [CD Creation] in "Selecting
the Output Service". (page 8)
• If you want to scan a photograph and store the
image data on CD-R, follow the procedure from
Step 1 of "Select the Scanner as the Input
Device" (page 13) to Step 5 of "Loading the
Original in the Scanner" (page 15). At this time,
touch [CD Creation] in "Selecting the Output
Service". (page 13)
• If you want to scan from film and write the image
data to CD-R, follow the procedure from Step 1
of "Select the Scanner as the Input Device" (page
19) to "Scanning the Film". (page 22) At this
time, touch [CD Creation] in "Selecting the
Output Service". (page 20)
Note
In the descriptions for printing, substitute "CD-R"
for "Print".

Confirm the displayed charges, and then touch
[Confirm].
The following screen appears.
Note
If the film has been scanned and stored on CD-R,
the CD-R drive tray opens without display of this
screen. Go to Step 6.

Touch the [OK] button.
The password entry screen is displayed.
