Scanning Photographs and Printing
This section describes how to scan a photograph and
print it.
Note
A compatible scanner and printer (sold separately)
connected to the system is required in order to scan
and print a photograph. For details, see the Operating
Instructions.
Operation Overview
Here is an overview of the procedure for scanning and printing a photograph.
Select the Scanner as the Input Device
Selecting the Output Service
Select from among the output services:
• Quick printing (described in the following procedure)
• Printing images on a variety of paper sizes ("Printing on Different Paper Sizes", page 29)
• Creating special print jobs ("Creative Printing", page 29)
In addition to printing options, the following feature is also available:
• Writing image data to a CD-R ("Writing Image Data to a CD-R", page 33)
Loading the Original in the Scanner
A photograph is scanned and read as image data. Repeat for as many photographs as you need to scan.
Selecting the Number of Copies to Print
At this step you can trim the image or correct its color. For details, see "Editing Image Data". (page 24)
Confirming Charges, Entering Passwords
The default setting is "1111", but this setting can be changed in the Configuration Utility. You must know the password
in order to print.

You can use the Configuration Utility to require password entry before the system can print. For details, see "[ Setting -
