9. Operation
Follow the information in the "Safety instructions".
a) Attaching/changing the nozzle
Insert the desired nozzle onto the hot air nozzle until it clicks into place (the workstation comes with 3 nozzles with
different diameters for the air outlet). Use a smaller nozzle for more precise work (e.g. on a densely equipped circuit
board).
Important, caution!
The nozzle heats up when the workstation is switched on. Burn hazard! Never change the nozzle when it
is hot. Always wait until the nozzle and the entire hot air nozzle have cooled down completely.
Do not use any tools to change the nozzle, as this may damage the nozzle.
Depending on how the hot air nozzle will be used, you can also use the hot air nozzle without an attached nozzle (e.g.
when you need to heat large areas).
b) Switching on/off
Use the on/off switch (11) on the back of the workstation to switch the workstation on ("I" position) or off ("O" position).
After the workstation has been switched on, the display will turn on and show the welcome message for a few seconds
before switching to the normal display.
