Controllare che non vi siano collegamen-
ti lenti e che la batteria si carichi in modo
corretto.
Verificare il funzionamento dell'alternato-
re e del carica batteria.
Si devono tenere cariche tutte le batterie.
Quando non si fa funzionare il motore per
lunghi periodi o quando lo si fa funziona-
re per brevi periodi, le batterie potrebbe-
ro non ricaricarsi

La tensione della cinghia del ventilatore

cinghia sia di 10 mm circa (fig.C1 "3" ).
Nel caso di una tensione scorretta,
allentare le viti 1 e 2 (fig.C1) di due o tre
giri e ruotare il gruppo alternatore in
modo da ottenere la tensione di cinghia
richiesta.

Verificare lo stato della cinghia
(segni di usura o screpolature) e cam-
biarla, se necessario (vedere tabella
"elementi filtranti e cinghie").
Se la cinghia ha più di quattro incrinatu-
re per 25,4 mm, deve essere sostituita.

nature, tagli, vetrificazioni, grasso.

Check to make sure there are no slack
connections and that the battery is char-
ged correctly.
Check the working of the alternator and
battery charger.
All the batteries must be kept charged.
The batteries may not get charged com-
pletely if the engine is left unused for long
periods, or if it is used only for short
periods.

The tension of the alternator fan belt
must be adjusted so that, by exercising
a normal pressure with the thumb, the
belt flexure is about 10 mm (fig. C1 "3").
If the tension is wrong, slacken screws 1
and 2 (fig. C1) by two or three turns and
turn the alternator unit so that the belt
tension is correct.
Tighten screws 1 and 2 again (fig. C1).
Check the condition of the belt (signs of
wear or cracks) and replace it if neces-
sary..
• If the belt has more than four cracks
for 25.4 mm, it must be replaced.
• Check the belt for cracks, cuts, vitrifi-
cation, grease.

and rear axle differential
Set the truck on a horizontal surface
with the engine off.
Check the oil level in the front axle diffe-
rential.
Remove plug 3 (fig. C2).
The oil must be flush with the edge of
the hole.
If necessary, add oil through fill hole 1
(fig. C2). (See "LUBRICANT" chart).
Repeat this operation for the rear axle
differential.

muß, die Schrauben "1" und "2" (Abb.C1)
um zwei oder drei Umdrehungen
lösen und die Lichtmaschine soweit ver-
stellen, bis die korrekte
Keilriemspannungerreicht ist.
Die Befestigungsschrauben "1" und "2"
(Abb. C1) wieder festziehen.
Den Zustand des Keilriemens prüfen auf
Verschleiß, Rißbildung etc. prüfen und
ggf.ersetzen.
Wenn der Riemen mehr als vier Risse
auf 25,4 mm hat, muss er ersetzt wer-
den.
Prüfen, ob der Riemen Risse, Schnitte,
Verhärtungen oder Fett aufweist.

Einfüllschraube "1" (Abb. C2) nachfüllen
(vgl. "TABELLE DER FÜLLMENGEN").
Der gleiche Vorgang für die Hinterachse
wiederholen.
