Controllare prefiltro combustibile
Prima di fare questa operazione, assicu-
rarsi che ci sia abbastanza gasolio nel
serbatoio e che il motore termico sia
fermo.
Svitare il tappo di svuotamento 1 (fig.A3)
del prefiltro di due /tre giri di filetto e
lasciare defluire il gasolio fino a quando
é libero da impurità.
Riavvitare il tappo di svuotamento men-
tre il gasolio sta defluendo.
Non fumare e non avvicinarsi con una
fiamma durante il riempimento del
serbatoio o quando quest'ultimo
é aperto.
Non fare mai il pieno con il motore
acceso.

Verifica del sistema di sicurezza.

Verificarei con l'aiuto di una corda metri-
ca e di una livella le indicazioni di lun-
ghezza (L) ed angolo (A) braccio.
Verificare poi il funzionamento del siste-
ma di sicurezza sollevando un peso
noto, con forche a braccio chiuso, e
controllando che la lettura del carico sul
sistema sia corretta.
Infine sfilare il carico (mantenendolo a
circa 0,5 metri dal suolo) e controllare
che raggiunga il limite prestabilito dal
diagramma e che la macchina blocchi i
movimenti aggravanti all'intervento del
sistema di sicurezza.

Check and clean the fuel prefilter
Before this operation is carried out,
check that there is enough fuel in the
tank and that the engine is at a stand-
still. Unscrew drain plug 1 (fig. A3) of the
prefilter two/three turns and allow the
fuel to drain out until it is free from impu-
rities.
Screw the drain plug back on while the
fuel it still draining.
Do not smoke and do not approach the
vehicle with a flame when filling the tank
or when the tank is open.
Never fill the tank when the engine is on.

Inspection of the safety system

To check the way the safety system
works, use a measuring cord and a level
to check the arm angle (A) and length (L)
indications.
Then lift a known weight with the fork
arms closed and make sure that the load
reading in the system is correct.
Lastly, extend the load (keeping it about
0.5 meters from the ground) then make
sure that it reaches the limit established
by the diagram and that the machine
blocks the load bearing movements when
the safety system activates.

Entlüften des kraftstoffvorfilters
Sicherstellen, daß sich genügend kraft-
stoff im Tank befindet.
Motor abstellen.
Den Stopfen "1" (Abb. A3) zum
Entleeren des Vorfilters um zwei/drei
Umdrehungen losschrauben und etwas
Kraftstoff auslaufen lassen, bis er bla-
senfrei austritt.
Den Stopfen wieder aufschrauben,
während der Kraftstoff noch abläuft.1
Während des Tankens oder bei geöffne-
tenm Tank nicht rauchen und kein offe-
nes Feuer oder Licht benutzen.
Zum Tanken den Motor immer
abgestellen.

Überprüfung des
Sicherheitssystems
Zur Kontrolle des Sicherheitssystems
anhand Gabeln mit geschlossenem Arm
ein bekanntes Gewicht anheben und
überprüfen, ob die Messung der Ladung
am System richtig ist. Dann mit einer
Meßschnur und einer Libelle die
Anzeigen der Länge (L) und des
Armwinkels (A) überprüfen.
Dann die Ladung herausziehen (in circa
0,5 m Höhe vom Boden halten) und kon-
trollieren, daß sie die vom Diagramm vor-
bestimmte Grenze erreicht, und daß die
Maschine die erschwerenden
Bewegungen beim Eingreifen des
Sicherheitssystems blockiert.
