Important!
When using a LiPo drive battery, check the speed controller settings to confirm that undervoltage protection
is enabled (normally 3.0 V/cell). If undervoltage detection is switched off, the LiPo battery may be perma-
nently damaged due to overdischarge.
When using a NiMH battery, disable undervoltage detection or configure a lower voltage setting "b) Pro-
gramming additional functions" on page 50. The LED on the speed controller goes out in the neutral
position or lights up red when driving forwards and backwards. A green LED lights up as well when driving
forward and at full throttle.
f) Controlling the vehicle
1. Release the throttle/brake lever (move it to the neutral position). The vehicle should roll to a halt or stay stationary
(if necessary, adjust the throttle trim on the remote control).
2. Slowly pull the throttle/brake lever towards the handle to make the vehicle move forwards.
3. Move the throttle/brake lever away from the handle without a pause to make the vehicle move forwards and brake
(the vehicle decelerates quickly rather than coming slowly to a standstill).
4. Move forwards, brake and then drive in reverse: Push the throttle/brake lever away from the handle (braking)
without pausing; if the vehicle remains stationary, move the throttle/brake lever to the neutral position briefly (ap-
prox. 1 second), then push the throttle/brake lever away from the handle (vehicle will now reverse)
