NOTE:
Before you connect the PeakTech 1200 with your PC it is needed to install the software included all
USB-driver.
Installation of the software
The installation of the software is needed to operate the PeakTech 1200 oscilloscope in connection with the
PC.
To install the Interface-Program and USB-driver, please follow below procedure:
1. Start Windows (98/2000/XP or VISTA)
2. Insert the provided software-CD into your CD/DVD-drive
3. Locate the CD/DVD-ROM drive from the windows, double click the drive letter to display the root
folder of the PeakTech-CD
4. Double click the file "SETUP.EXE"
5. Follow the on-screen installation instructions until the installation is finished.
6. Connect the PeakTech 1200 to the USB-port of your PC
7. Windows will find a new hardware and wants to install the corresponding USB-driver, which you will
find in the installation folder of the software.
8. After installation of the USB-driver you start the DS_WAVE-software. In the START-menu of
windows there would create a new folder of DS_WAVE to start and uninstall the software.
