Using of the electric hob

4.2.1 Operation of the electric hob
The glass ceramic hob is equipped with a microcomputer capable of meeting a range of different cooking
requirements, thanks to the micro-automated control heating element with multi-power selection.
The glass ceramic hob is based on infrared heating technology, with the food heated by radiant heat.
WARNING: If sugar or food with high sugar contents is spilled on the hot glass ceramic
hob, clean the hob immediately and remove the sugar with a scraper, even when the hob
is still hot. This prompt action will prevent possible damage to the glass ceramic surface.
WARNING: Switch off the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
Once the hob has cooled sufficiently, use a damp cloth and a small amount of detergent
to remove limescale, water stains, and grease spatters. After cleaning, dry the hob with
a soft cloth.

4.2.2 Suitable pans

You can use any type of pot or pan, including copper pans, woks, stainless steel pans, glass pans,
ceramic casserole dishes and containers.
NOTE: The bottom of the pan should be flat and smooth.
Do not use pans with a rough serrated bottom or with a curved bottom.
When cooking, the pan must remain in the centre of the cooking zone.
