DANGER: Do not use the appliance (oven/hob) to heat or cook food in cans or other
sealed containers. The pressure that forms in the container could cause it to burst,
resulting in damage to the appliance.
CAUTION: Before carrying out maintenance or cleaning tasks, the appliance (oven/hob)
must be disconnected from the electrical supply.
To keep the appliance safe and in good working order, contact exclusively service centres
authorised by the manufacturer and use exclusively genuine original replacement parts in
the case of breakages or faults.
CAUTION: Make sure the data on the appliance nameplate are compatible with the
electrical supply in the home in which the appliance is to be installed. In the case of
discrepancies, consult a licensed electrician.
CAUTION: Be sure to use a correctly rated cable to connect the appliance to the electrical
supply.
Make sure the appliance has been properly assembled. If unsuitable power cables are
used, the connection may become hot.
Make sure the power cable connections are tight and the cable is not tangled.
Make sure a protection is installed to prevent direct contact with electrical cables.
Do not use multiple socket adapters or extension leads.
The temperature probe forms part of the thermostat; if it becomes damaged it must be
replaced by a specialised technician.
Do not pull or damage the power cable to disconnect the appliance from the electrical
supply. Contact our authorised customer service or a specialised technician to have a
damaged power cable replaced.
CAUTION: Do not drop heavy objects or pans onto the hob. NEVER climb onto the hob
as this may damage the surface.
CAUTION: Do not switch on cooking zones if they are not occupied by pans or if the pans
are empty.
CAUTION: Do not place sheets of aluminium foil on the hob.
CAUTION: Use exclusively adequate electrical supply disconnecting devices: circuit
breakers, fuses (screw-in fuses must be removable from the support), residual current
devices, and contactors.
CAUTION: Use exclusively the hob protections designed by the appliance manufacturer
or the hob protections incorporated in the appliance. The use of inadequate protections
may result in accidents.
CAUTION: The electrical system must be equipped with an isolation device that
disconnects the appliance from all poles of the electrical supply. The isolation device
must have a minimum contact gap of 3 mm.
