2. Montage

2.1 Empfang und Instandhaltung

Überprüfen Sie beim Empfang des Befeuchters dessen Unversehrtheit
und teilen Sie dem Transporteur eventuelle Schäden, die auf einen
unvorsichtigen oder ungeeigneten Transport zurückzuführen sind,
unmittelbar schriftlich mit. Bringen Sie den Befeuchter an den
Installationsort, bevor Sie ihn auspacken; packen Sie ihn dabei nur von
unten an. Öffnen Sie den Karton und ziehen Sie ihn ab, entnehmen Sie
die stoßfesten Zwischenlagen, entfernen Sie die Schrauben, mit denen
der Befeuchter an der Palette befestigt ist, heben Sie den Befeuchter
auf die Basis und halten Sie ihn dabei immer in vertikaler Stellung.

2.2 Positionierung

Suchen Sie für die Installation die für die Dampfverteilung geeignetste
Lage aus, d. h. bei der die Länge der Dampfleitung am kürzesten
ausfällt.
Das Gerät ist für die Bodenmontage gedacht; achten Sie darauf, dass
die Vorrichtung das Gewicht des Gerätes bei Betrieb aushält (siehe
„Abmessungen und Gewichte"). Das Metallgehäuse des Befeuchters
erhitzt sich während des Betriebs und die Oberseite kann Temperaturen
über 50° erreichen; vergewissern Sie sich, dass dies zu keinem
Problem führt. Setzen Sie den Befeuchter gerade an und halten Sie
den Mindestabstand ein, der in der Abbildung 2.2.1 angegeben wird,
damit die nötigen Wartungsoperationen durchgeführt werden können.
HINWEIS: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Ausgangsgitter der
Kühlventilators nicht verstopft oder bedeckt ist.
N.B.: Die Geräte müssen aufgrund ihrer Schutzart in geschlossenen
Räumen installiert werden.

2. Mounting
2.1 Receipt and storage
Check that the humidifier is intact upon receipt and immediately
notify the shipping agent, in writing, of any damage that may be due
to improper or careless transport. Move the humidifier to the place of
installation before removing it from the packaging, lifting it only by the
pallet. Open and remove the box, remove the internal of protective
stoppers, remove the screws that fasten the humidifier to the pallet and
move the humidifier from the pallet to the support surface, keeping it
vertical at all times.
2.2 Positioning and encumbrances
For installation choose the most suitable position for the steam
distribution, that is the position that minimises the length of the steam
outlet pipe.
The unit has been designed to be floor standing, and the floor must
thus be able to support the weight of the unit in normal operating con-
ditions (see Dimensions and weights).
The metal casing of the humidifier heats up during operation, and the
upper part may reach temperatures of over 50°C; check that this does
not cause any problems. Make sure the humidifier is level, and that the
minimum spaces are respected, as in Fig. 2.2.1, to allow room for
maintenance operations.
WARNING: make sure that the cooling fan outlet louver is not covered
or blocked.
N.B.: position gaSteam in a protected environment, according to its
Protection Index IP20.
