4.3.1 Switching off the machine
CAUTION!
Only press the emergency stop button in a genuine emergency. You should not use the
emergency-stop button to stop the machine during normal operation.
For a long-term standstill of the geared drill switch it off at the master switch.
4.3.2
Gear selector switch
The speed is selected by means of the gear selector switches. You obtain a total of 12 speed
ranges in connection with the motor stages.

ATTENTION!
Wait until the drilling spindle has come to a complete halt before changing the speed
with the gear selector switch.
A change of the gear ratio during operation can lead to the destruction of parts.
4.4
Drill depth stop
Use the drilling depth stop when drilling several holes of the same depth.
The spindle can only be lowered to the set value.

Spindle sleeve feed
with DH40G only manually.
with DH40GP manually or automatically.

Turn the knurled screw (clockwise).
The spindle sleeve lever moves in
direction of the spindle head and acti-
vates the coupling of the fine feed.
Turn the quill fine feed in order to
move the quill.
